Though we have not released it to the TER, we do have TVFW version 2 available.
It does work with TYPO3 6.2. We have used it on our customer sites.

Here is the extension manual which has a link to the GIT repo with the code for version 2.
You should use the develop branch.

You can use version 1 skins with version 2, but will need to add one constant to the skin (detailed in manual).

Changes in QuickSite for Version 0.7 beta

Targeting of alternate header, footer, preCode and postCode objects to individual templates.

It is now possible to write header, footer, preCode and postCode objects on a per template basis. For instance, if you write the TypoScript object "header" and also write an object "f2b.header", then all templates will use the "header" object except template F2b which will use the "f2b.header." This greatly enhances the flexibility of the framework as it gives you total control of the HTML structure on a template by template basis.

Changed the core JavaScript to use "jQuery" instead of a modified jQuery factory function alias. This allows skin developers using only jQuery to use its traditional factory function alias and not require a "noConflict" setup unless they decide to do so.

Constant file paths

Changed the constants  "bnTemplates.corePath" and "bnTemplates.skinPath" from absolute to relative paths so the QuickSIte can be run in a subdirectory.

Corrections for UTF-8

Added $TYPO3_CONF_VARS['SYS']['setDBinit'] = 'SET NAMES utf8'; to localconf.php

Reimported Static Info Tables so it would be right for utf-8

Found occurences of iso-8859-1 in the database dump, which was set as encoding for the Templavoila xml templates and replaced them with utf-8

RTE Context Menu

Disabled the RTE context menu with TypoScript in the page TS config on the root page of the site. This allows the user to check spelling with the browser's context menu.

Magical Feature Adjustment

The feature area and its pre and post code objects are only supposed to be rendered if they contain content. Previously the pre and post code objects would render if the feature area contained hidden or timed content. That has been corrected so that now the feature and its pre and post code objects will only render if there is VISIBLE content.

File create and folder create masks

Took out the following lines in localconf

$TYPO3_CONF_VARS['BE']['fileCreateMask'] = '0770';
$TYPO3_CONF_VARS['BE']['folderCreateMask'] = '0770';

This puts the values of these items to the TYPO3 defaults. They can be changed in the Install Tool.

Date Format

Historically I have used U.S. date formats (mm-dd-yyyy) in the QuickSite, but now with its use by the general TYPO3 community its makes sense to change that to the TYPO3 default (dd-mm-yyyy). Therefore I have eliminated the following line from localconf.

$TYPO3_CONF_VARS['SYS']['USdateFormat'] = '1';

You can change this back to U.S. date format in the install tool.
